Visual Appeal is the dream of a man who has a passion for video editing. The company was founded back in 1996 by Allen Pilgrim as a graphic arts company. The focus at that time was on retouching photos, customized greeting cards, T-shirts and anything graphic related. Late in the year 2000 Allen's childhood dream was brought to reality when he and his wife decided to purchase a digital camcorder and Pinnacle's Studio DV.
The dream started when Allen was a child. He used to make movies with a Kodak Brownie 8mm camera. Those movies were 4 minutes long and could be spliced together to make longer movies. It was a tedious job and even the best splices rarely went unnoticed.
Now Allen primarily uses Sony Vegas Pro 8. Other NLEs that he uses are Avid Liquid 7.2, and Studio 11 to accomplish his video editing goals.
Visual Appeal has had projects taping and editing weddings, concerts, family reunions, and numerous other public events.
