The Best (Many of these will be available on our new site - details to come)

Extreme Sports 2007 (30.6MB) [removed]

Notes: Added 3/27/07, WMV format, Created with Liquid Edition 7.2, Revised 4/4/07 and only two minutes now

This was an experiment. My goal was to create a video that showed off extreme sports. It is set to intense music which fits the types of clips used. Most of the footage is from the Digital Juice VideoTraxx1 film and video library. Some of the footage I shot handheld at the Marine World Water Show in 2003. There is one clip of two guys crashing on the tubes and I'm on one of them. I also used Digital Juice's Editor's Toolkit 10 for the background on the opening title and as a transition in a few places. Enjoy.

Albany Farmers' Market 2007 (11.7MB) [removed]

Notes: Added 4/15/07, WMV format, Created with Liquid Edition 7.2

The Albany Farmers' Market moved to a new location on April 14, 2007. The goal was to create a video that demonstrated the change. For this I used one of the popular magicians in the area, Phil Crosson who performed "The Torn & Restored Farmers' Market." I created a looping DVD (first time) and it was played over a period of two hours for everyone that walked by. It was very popular. This was a fun project and one that I hope you have fun watching.

As a side note Phil Crosson performed a full stage show on the same day.

Albany Helping Hands Promo 2005 (55.6MB) [removed]

Notes: Added 11/18/05, WMV format, 738 kbps, Created with Liquid Edition 6.1

This is the latest video I created for a local homeless shelter. This is the 3rd video I've made for Albany Helping Hands. They have successfully used the videos to help raise money for expansion, growth, along with their monthly expenses.

Albany Helping Hands Promo 2005 (low res.) (18.4MB) [removed]

Notes: Added 11/18/05, WMV format, 204 kbps, Created with Liquid Edition 6.1

This is the same as above but in a lower resolution.

Marine World Water Show (768 Kbps 19MB) [removed]

This is a revised version of the first project created with Liquid Edition 5.5. It is an extreme water show at Marine World in Vallejo, California. It was taken on our summer vacation on June 25, 2003. Featuring awesome water skiing stunts, boat tricks, beautiful California girls and more. In this new version you will see more use of the linear and dynamic timewarp features. There is also some new music as well as a very nice PiP (Picture in Picture) effect. This version includes footage previously unseen. Enjoy.

Albany Helping Hands Promo (19.0MB) [removed]

Notes: Added 12/26/04, WMV format, Created with Liquid Edition 6.0

This is a video I created for a local homeless shelter. It was successfully used to help raise money for expansion and growth.

Comedy Shorts

The Kite2 (3.6MB)

Watch this for a good laugh. This was the first time I ever tried to fly this type of kite. It was also very windy. In this video I use several techniques including the fast motion setting, color to black and white, and a Hollywood FX transition to end it all. The music was created with Microsoft Music Producer. I used Sonic Foundry's Video Explosion Deluxe (basically a light version of Vegas Video) to do the old film effect. I was able to adjust the dust particles, flicker, hair, jitter and scratches. I did the final editing in Studio 7.

General Videos

Joseph Novak Slideshow (25.3MB) [removed]

Notes: Added 11/10/05, WMV format, 602 Kbps, Created with Liquid Edition 6.10 (build 4284)

Created for Joseph Novak's 70th birthday party on June 4, 2005. Joseph immigrated to America from Hungary many years ago and began working for the space program. Later he and his wife Matilda opened one of the classiest restaurants in all of Oregon - Novak's Hungarian Restaurant. If you're ever in Albany, Oregon check it out and you'll see that it compares to some of the nicer restaurants in the country. They have live entertainment on various nights. Generally Joseph and Matilda will be found walking around greeting people and making them feel welcome.

Mystical Journey (1.5MB)

Mystical Journey uses special effects such as Single Hue, Blur, Speed, and Strobe. Click Here for instructions on how to do this.

Countdown 2 (1.9MB)

Standard countdown with a musical intro track.

Surfing Safari (37.5MB) [removed]

I filmed this in Santa Cruz, CA on our summer vacation in 2002. Many of the special effects were done in MAGIX Video Deluxe 2.0 Plus. One of my favorite effects was the mirror effect which looks really cool with a couple of the surfer scenes. I also used some of the other color modifications as well as the whirlpool effect. One of the color effects makes it look like the waves are electric purple. I finished it off in Studio 8 and saved it to the MPEG1 format.

If Only It Were True (15MB) [removed]

This is a video of Allen performing in front of a packed auditorium for the Christmas musical at First Assembly in Albany, Oregon on December 14, 2003.
